DOT Compliance Coordinator

JOB DESCRIPTION

Snelling Staffing is looking for a DOT Compliance Coordinator for a manufacturing and construction company with nearly 45 years in business. This position is responsible for ensuring that the organization adheres to all regulatory requirements and internal politics. The compliant coordinator will play a critical role in risk management and regulatory reporting ensuring smooth operations. This will be a direct hire position paying in the range of $47,000-$56,000 per year.

DOT Compliance Coordinator Responsibilities:

  • Maintain compliance policies and procedures related to OSHA and other applicable laws.
  • Manage driver files and vehicle inspections.
  • Communicate with fleet drivers regarding hours-of-service logs.
  • Ensure fleet safety with proper documentation.

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business admin, logistics, legal, or another relevant field is REQUIRED! Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of education.
  • Proven experience in compliance management or a related field, particularly within logistics or supply chain environments.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA standards, freight operations, and transportation management practices.
  • Excellent report writing skills with attention to detail in documentation processes.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess risks effectively.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
