Consultative Sales Rep

Top performing Corporation , expanding sales in the Baton Rouge Market, seeks a Sales Professional to market a full suite of Payroll and Human Resource services to small businesses. YOU will be responsible for building relationships with local banks, CPA’s, Financial Advisors and other COI’s to create referral sources.

Consultative Sales Responsibilities:

  • Provide a consultative role partnering with potential clients customizing solutions to meet their business needs
  • Develop referral relationships with CPAs, Banks, and Financial Advisors.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships, with both referral partners and external customers
  • Mine existing and prospective clients for referral business
  • Build network with key industry influencers and decision makers
  • Meet or exceed assigned sales goals

Consultative Sales Qualifications:


  • College degree
  • 4 plus years related B2B sales experience w/ successful track record
  • Ability to influence and persuade to achieve desired outcomes
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and negotiation skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • High level of professionalism
  • As an industry highly impacted by compliance, strong attention to detail is required
  • Excellent planning skills and ability to implement successful sales strategies
  • Understanding of Human Resources management, payroll, taxes, employee benefits
  • Self-starter with entrepreneurial energy
