JOB DESCRIPTION

Legal Administrative Assistant for an Attorney!

Immediate opening for a part time Legal Administrative Assistant with a Strategic Consultant firm in Baton Rouge! Flexible hours! Direct hire position!

Legal Administrative Assistant Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Drafts, proofreads and revises drafts of reports and legal documents
  • Researches and prepares materials for presentations
  • Coordinates and schedules appointments, meetings, events and travel
  • Reconciles reimbursement bookkeeping, billing and collections
  • Assists a high-level attorney who sits on multiple boards
  • Interacts with clients with a professional, can-do attitude
  • Maintains confidentiality and accuracy while record keeping
  • Performs other duties as assigned

 

Legal Administrative Assistant Requirements:

  • Must have at least 2-3 years of experience in a legal environment
  • Must have experience arranging detailed global travel for executives
  • Higher education degree preferred
  • Ability to handle large amounts of data, multitask and meet deadlines
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and detail oriented
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook
