Legal Coordinator


A well-established large medical clinic in Baton Rouge is currently seeking a Medical Legal Coordinator to join the team! Entry level opportunity to gain experience in the legal field! Salary $11.00-$13.00/hour to start with excellent benefits!

Medical Legal Coordinator Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates and schedules attorney conferences, depositions, and video dispositions for physicians.
  • Coordinates and schedules Independent Medical Exams and Second Medical Opinions for physicians.
  • Coordinates and schedules Medical Review Panels for physicians.
  • Communicates with attorneys on subpoenas for physicians.
  • Creates Attorney Responsible Accounts for patients who are involved in a case related to their injury, including attorney’s execution of documents pertaining to financial responsibility


Medical Legal Coordinator Requirements:

  • Prior experience in the legal or medical field is helpful
  • Bachelors or Associates degree is preferred
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
