Snelling Staffing is looking for Rodman and Instrument Man for a land surveying company with over 40 years in the Baton Rouge area. Both positions share similar responsibilities, but the Rodman position is open for those with limited experience open to training. The Rodman is paying in the range of $14 to $17 per hour while the Instrument Man is offering between $16 to $24 per hour depending on previous work experience. The positions are both direct hires offering full-time hours of Monday through Friday 7:30am-3:30pm.

Rodman Crew Member Duties:

• Load/Unload equipment for daily projects
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment
• Operate and setup survey measuring instruments
• Remove obstacles in path of equipment
• Cut lines and pop tops

Instrument Man Duties:

• Duties listed above
• Collect and analyze survey data
• Ensure safety standards are being met
• Responsible for training other survey technicians
• Maintain accurate and reliable data measurements

Survey Position Requirements:

• Valid Driver’s License and CLEAN Driving Record is REQUIRED!!
• Employment dependent on clean drug screening.
• Must be dependable and have excellent attention to detail
• Previous work experience is not required for Rodman position (willing to train); however, the Instrument Man will require at least 1-2 years of previous experience!!
