Director of Information Technology

Top ranked Louisiana Technology Solution Provider seeks Professional to oversee entire IT operations with a direct report to C level.  Position is located in the Central Louisiana/Alexandria area. This includes directing all IT operations to meet customer requirements as well as the support and maintenance of existing applications and the development of new technical solutions.

IT Director responsibilities:

  • Supervise the local network and email systems
  • Manage production & VDI Systems
  • Oversee the Service Department
  • Provide Technical Expertise to Sales to generate quotes & estimates.
  • Maintain staff by orienting, and training employees; maintain a safe and secure work environment; develop personal growth opportunities.

IT Director requirements:

  •  Must Live in Central Louisian /Alexandria area
  • 5 + years proven working experience as an IT manager.
  • Hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration and network installation.
  • Ability & experience managing personnel.
  • Computer related college degree desired.
  • Comp TIA A+, S+, N+ Certifications preferred
  • Must be knowledgeable in various wiring configurations and terminations
  • Must work well with little supervision individually and in a team environment
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
  • Must be knowledgeable in various wiring configurations and terminations

  • Must hold a valid driver’s license and be able to drive a company vehicle
