Education: BS Accounting or Finance required.  CPA a plus!

Controller Professional Experience:

  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of accounting principles
  • Strong analytical and accounting skills
  • 4-10 years related Accounting experience
  • Prior leadership/supervisory experience.
  • Intermediate to advance experiences with MS Word, MS Excel, & MS Outlook

Controller Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Multi-State Sales and Use Tax Returns
  • Prepare financial statements supporting schedules according to monthly close schedule
  • Facilitate and complete monthly close procedures
  • Prepare monthly account reconciliations and other daily accounting functions such as cash receipt reporting, accounts payable and inventory
  • Manage and analyze large amounts of transactions for proper reporting
  • Assist with internal financial and tax audits
  • Assist with preparing tax returns and corporate reporting requirements
  • Budget/Forecasting
  • Management of accounting department
