SNELLING STAFFING has an immediate opening for a teller with a credit union in the ALEXANDRIA area. This company has over 60 years of experience in serving the state of Louisiana. This position will be 40 hours per week and paying $15.75 per hour and will last for 6-9 months.

Bank Teller Duties and Responsibilities:

• Is responsible for providing customers with prompt and efficient services on a variety of transactions.
• Cashes checks, savings withdrawals and makes cash advances; confirms necessary documents are properly authorized, are in proper form and are within authorized limits; makes decisions when questionable items are presented for cashing.
• Receives and processes loan and other payments and stop payments.
• Issues official checks
• Balances cash drawer daily and assists with processing of ATM and the vault.
• Assists with night depository duties; log bags; processes deposits; makes change orders; issues receipts and returns bags to customers.
• Counts, checks, and packages coins and currency.
• Cross-sells financial institution services.
• Answer telephones and directs callers to proper bank personnel participates in meetings.

Bank Teller Requirements:

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task and enjoys a fast-paced environment
• Cash handling experience
• Preferred 1 or more years of teller experience
• Professional with great customer service skills
